Our Story

Our endeavor to start this journey stems from our strong belief in making our country self-sustainable and less dependent on imports.

The challenges currently our saffron growers face is immense. Climate change, erratic weather patterns, adulteration, reducing cultivating area for saffron cultivation are few of the challenges that the saffron growers are facing every year. With the help of technology, we are determined to overcome these challenges and make it accessible to grow saffron in any part of the world.

Our aim is to bring transparency in the saffron growing process and build trust with our customers by growing and providing the highest quality of saffron in the most sustainable way.

Challenges addressed

As the total yield of saffron is decreasing year on year, by growing saffron indoors under controlled environment, we will be able to reduce the import of saffron and would be taking the step towards atamnirbhartha in saffron cultivation. According to many reports the total area for saffron cultivation has decreased significantly over the decades. With the help of indoor vertical farming, we will be able to grow the same amount of saffron that would require 8-10x of open field otherwise.

One of the major advantages of Indoor farming is we can control the environment and thus are less dependent on external environmental conditions. We can have precise temperature and moisture/humidity as required for high quality and high yield saffron cultivation. By controlling each stage from saffron cultivation to packaging and marketing to sales, we can make sure that there is no possibility of any adulteration at any stage and that the end users are getting the purest form of saffron.

Due to unscientific post-harvest practices the quality of saffron decreases. With the help of technology and the newest techniques for storing the crop we will make sure that the quality of content in saffron does not get affected.
